The American Academy of Oral Medicine conference was held in San Antonio April 23-27.  Charlie Gantt, Ph. D., presented our latest findings on iCLEAN and cholesterol, which generated strong interest among attendees.  A number of people were surprised to consider the implications of a simple mouth rinse being able to reduce cholesterol.  To see the presentation poster, click here.

BDC also sponsored a booth, where we shared samples of the new iCLEAN mouth rinse.  It was fascinating to see how different people described the unexpected taste.  Some described it as tasting like “Chardonnay”, others said “A little fruity, a little tart” and still others simply called it “pleasant”.   Most people were surprised, though, that it wasn’t the usual “alcohol and overpowering mint” flavor we’ve all come to expect from mouthwashes.  The other fact that surprised folks was how little it takes… just a teaspoon!

It’s been less than a month since our launch of the consumer version of iCLEANmouths and we are pleased that the product is selling faster than we expected.  A number of folks saw the article in the Wall Street Journal online and ordered right away.
