The Company

The iClean Company is an affiliate of Biomedical Development Corporation, a company dedicated to developing innovative technologies for forward-thinking consumers. BDC develops products that produce superior clinical outcomes under rigorous, peer-reviewed scientific testing.

Background

The iClean Company was started in 2012 to sell iClean Mouth Rinse and other iClean products. (BDC has been around developing products since 1984.) The companies have offices in Lexington, Kentucky and San Antonio, Texas.

iClean mouthrinse enjoyed a successful product launch at the American Academy of Oral Medicine Conference in San Antonio, Texas in April, 2013. We have seen steady growth since then.

Why iClean?

A growing number of educated consumers are avoiding highly processed foods and minimizing exposure to the excess chemicals in many consumer products. When it comes to mouthwash, that means skipping all those brightly colored, heavily flavored, alcohol-based mouthwashes and choosing a more natural (and naturally effective) cleaning process like iClean. iClean has only two ingredients: iodine and a dash of non-sugar flavoring.

Why Iodine?

Iodine is naturally occurring in fish & seafood, yogurt, cheeses, and a number of other foods. Our bodies can’t make iodine, but we need it to live. The thyroid uses iodine to make important hormones.
